We Stand Behind Our Work

City Bee Deck & Railing provides a 3-Year Limited Workmanship Warranty on qualifying installations completed by our team.

Our warranty covers defects resulting directly from the installation or construction performed by City Bee Deck & Railing.

If something doesn't look or perform the way it should because of our workmanship, contact us. We'll review the concern and determine the appropriate solution.

Many premium products installed by City Bee carry their own manufacturer's warranty.

Depending on the materials selected for your project, additional coverage may apply to composite or PVC decking, railing systems, aluminum and cable railing components, deck lighting, fasteners, and other specialty products.

If you experience what appears to be a material defect, City Bee can help identify the product installed on your project and provide the information you may need to begin a manufacturer warranty claim.

Manufacturer warranties are provided and administered by the applicable manufacturer and are subject to their individual terms, registration requirements, limitations, and exclusions.

COVERED

Installation-related issues such as:

Improperly installed decking or railing components
Installation-related fastening issues
Construction defects caused by our workmanship
Installation issues affecting the intended performance of the completed work

Every warranty request is evaluated individually based on the original project scope and the cause of the issue.

NOT COVERED

Normal wear and tear
Normal fading, weathering, or aging
Natural expansion and contraction
Natural wood checking, cracking, splitting, or movement
Improper maintenance
Accidental or intentional damage
Damage caused by grills, heaters, furniture, planters, or chemicals
Work or alterations performed by others
Existing structures not constructed by City Bee
Drainage, soil movement, or settlement outside our work
Pest or animal damage
Fire, flooding, severe weather, earthquakes, falling trees, or similar events outside our control

Material defects are subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty.

A Few Important Details

Natural Wood Changes Over Time

Wood naturally responds to moisture, sunlight, temperature changes, and Pacific Northwest weather.

Fading, color changes, shrinking, swelling, checking, minor cracking, or slight warping may occur naturally and do not necessarily indicate defective workmanship.

Proper maintenance helps preserve the appearance and longevity of natural wood.

Existing Structures

For repairs and resurfacing projects, our warranty applies to the work and materials specifically installed by City Bee.

Existing framing, foundations, footings, drainage conditions, and other components that City Bee did not replace or construct are not covered unless your contract specifically states otherwise.
